“It was amazing what came out of a simple three liner! I simple told Dottieshop that I wanted something purple, flowery and feminine, and wa-la! There came the whole scrapbook in 4 months! I was really surprised at the outcome, I didn’t expect something so perfect and the best part was, my mother really loved it. Purple fantasy

Specially made for Joycelyn’s mum for her 55th birthday! So sweet of her to go to all this trouble to find old photographs to fill the pages of this book of memories. I hope that aunty will treasure this gift for many more years to come! Lots of purple, oodles of flowers, and sprinkles of bling make this a really feminine album, and also my most ambitious project to date!

Most of us will have seen the horrific images of the recent earthquake and resulting tsunami that has hit Japan. Many countries, groups and individuals are rushing to send aid towards rescue and recovery efforts. Countless prayers have been offered up on their behalf. Amidst the great pain and anguish that the Japanese are experiencing at this present time, it’s heart-warming to see nations and organisations rallying together, seeking to help to the many who are hurting, devastated and living in fear from moment to moment.
